Houston native Ken Boyd is one the funniest comedians working today. Ken's quick wittedness is surpassed only by his stage presents and ability to command the crowd. Ken is a three time finalist in the "Houston's Funniest Person" contest and is a regular at the Houston's All Stars of Comedy Show". Mr. Boyd has just recently made his television debut on Kevin Hart's first season of "Hart of the City" on Comedy Central. Ken Boyd can be seen opening for comedy rock star Tony Rock and performing regular at the most premier comedy clubs such as Comic Strip Live, Stand Up New York and LOL Comedy Club.

The Renaissance in the Belly of a Killer Whale uniquely tells the story of three young women's love affair with Harlem from youth to young adulthood through a montage of spoken word poetry, theatre, dance, and song. It explores the conflicts in coming to terms with a gentrified Harlem. The characters grapple with the positive aspects of gentrification, such as new businesses and more resources, but also the negative aspects, such as displacement of residents, the higher cost of living, and cultural loss.
Killer whale has played at Times Square Arts Center, National Black Theatre, and Harlem School of the Arts, just to name a few. Killer Whale is also a recipent of the 2012 AUDELCO award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance.

His work ranges from satire to discussing socio-economic conditions, suicide, drug and alcohol culture, bullying, racism, homophobia, intersectionality and many more subjects, always in an engaging manner to be a voice for the voiceless and bring us all a little closer together.
Kente Scott
Oakland, California native Kente Scott draws the inspiration for his comedy routine from his seemingly never-ending life as a bachelor, being a single father of a teenage daughter, and his dysfunctional parents and upbringing. He has left crowds laughing all over the country, performing with such comic heavyweights as Katt Williams, Cedric The Entertainer, Melanie Camacho, Sherri Shepherd,
Chris Spencer, and Rodney Perry.
Kenté recently returned from co-headlining a tour of the U.S. Military bases in japan, bringing his humor to our troops.
As an actor, Kenté has appeared in numerous films and television shows. He co-starred in Denzel Washington’s directorial debut, “Antwone Fisher”, and played the lead in Showtime’s critically acclaimed movie, “They Call Me Sirr”, co-starring Michael Clarke Duncan. Kenté has been a guest star on hit shows such as “The Unit”, “ER”, “The Parkers”, “Strong Medicine”, and “Half & Half”.
